Race Team Management
Our crew chief, Ray, has race results and engine building talents that are the stuff of folklore. He started his racing career aged 16 and there is not enough space here to list all his achievements, in summary – over 300 podiums achieved: Wins - 132, 2nd place - 114, 3rd – 80. Ray has been crew chief for many riders, including Michael Rutter, Chris Walker, Dan Linfoot, Luke Mossey and Sylvian Guintoli.
Paul is team manager for OMG Racing. He has competed in many different motorsport disciplines at both British and International level. Paul now owns a motorcycle
performance centre and brings his team building and management knowledge to OMG Racing.
There was only ever one name OMG Racing wanted to work with, Suzuki. We have chosen the GSX-R1000 as the base for our race bikes because of its race proven speed and reliability over many, many years.
The L7 is the 6th generation of the GSX-R and is radically different to their previous models, and to all other makes of superbike. This is due to the L7's VVT (variable valve timing), which only Suzuki have been able to master at this level.
